1. What if I already have a domain name registered ?
You can keep the domain name registered with your current registrar and point the domain name to a hosting account on our web servers. Alternatively you can do a complete transfer to WestWindMoves.

2. Can I register a domain name but host it elsewhere ?
Yes. We will adjust the Domain Name Settings for your domain name as you require.If you are hosting the site elsewhere, we will need to know the NameServers of the hosting account that you are using.
If in doubt, ask the company hosting your web space for the PRIMARY and SECONDARY Name Servers and pass this information onto us.

3. Do you provide cloaked redirection ?
Yes. Cloaked Redirection is available free of charge.

4. What is the software platform of the server ?
We provide Windows and Linux Web Server Solutions.

5. What is the uptime of the server ?
Uptime is typically 99.9%

6. Do I choose Linux or Windows plans ?
If you use Windows technologies such as ASP or Linux technologies such as PHP then you will typically choose the most suitable - Windows(ASP or ASP.NET) or Linux (PHP). If you do not use either of these technologies, then it doesn't really matter. We can advise when you order if you are still unsure.

7. What are ASP and PHP ?
ASP and PHP are server side scripting languages you can use. If you do not need ASP or PHP and will just be uploading standard HTML web pages to your web space, these technologies won't really matter to you.

8. Can I order services on-line?
We will set up an on-line invoice for you to pay, once you have phoned up and ordered. We prefer to discuss your order to ensure you have the necessary package. We do not sell anything that you do not need and have in the past, advised clients to choose a less expensive package more suited to their needs.
